Conventional medication can also be use as alternatives to the use of the acai berry. There drugs to deter your appetite, cleanse your body, loss weight, fight cancer, diabetes and other ailments that can be fought using the acai berry products. The greatest disadvantage is that the process maybe cumbersome as you will take each drug for a specific ailment or purpose. Also most of these medicines are known to have side effects and hence segregate some group.  Many drugs cannot be used by sick people, expectant mothers, allergic and other conditions.

Despite the above alternatives there is non that can achieve the objectives of the acai berry as cheaply and conveniently as acai berry itself. The advantages of using acai berry are; it is cheap and affordable, user friendly, hard to abused, readily available, can be integrated with other foods and drugs, comes in different forms as solid and liquids and can be used by anyone without discrimination. Acai berry and a few other plants will form the best solution to most of our problems in the future as times become harder due to environment, economy and population increase.
